Loved the renovations from last time we were at the Adelaide Zoo, great variety of animals and shady places to sit with little ones. Children loved the play equipment and us adults loved the hot coffee. Parking is affordable and the zoo is easy to get there. Definitely will be back.

We actually have not been yet in Adelaide Zoo as it's on our to-do list during our summer holiday trip to Northern Territory and South Australia

We had a family day out

We had a family day out, as I brought my and partners ticket here using Afterpay and kids got to use their memberships again. A great day out but would like to see more experience added for Adelaide area so it makes it easier for families to have a day out.

I went to the zoo on my own as my partner had a meeting in the city

I went to the zoo on my own as my partner had a meeting in the city. I had such a great day seeing everything. Even got to see one of the pandas for the first time. Spent about 30 minutes watching the gibbons, they are playful creatures. Absolutely amazing day. Went on a Thursday afternoon and was not busy. Great experience on my own.

The zoo is always a fun experience because you have the freedom to walk around and take as long as you want

The zoo is always a fun experience because you have the freedom to walk around and take as long as you want , only downfall is trying to see the animals I went on a hot day so most were sleeping under trees and harder to see and lots of families are around

The zoo is quite small compared to the one we used to visit (Brisbane and Sydney for example)

The zoo is quite small compared to the one we used to visit (Brisbane and Sydney for example). There are nice animals like hippopotamus but we were quite frustrated seeing them turning around in very small enclosures. The pandas were hard to see as the zoo wanted to protect them, one of them was expecting. The kids really enjoyed the playground while we had lunch.

I booked the zoo tickets when my family came to visit us

I booked the zoo tickets when my family came to visit us. The zoo itself is very clean, probably the cleanest I have seen, small, that means you can cover the entire zoo in 4-5 hours, which is great for the kids and elders. Lots of shops, resting places and eateries throughout the section of the zoo. The highlight is the Lion feed. I still remember I was only a few centimetres away from the cage when the feed was done. Then the pandas were quite fun and lovely to watch. There is a bird show but a small one, though it was good. Overall a fairly good zoo, with a lot of endangered species and good for families and young kids.

Loved it

Loved it! As did the children. So much to see and do. Great playground for the children to play on after lunch as well. Staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely.

It was amazing. Most important thing is that my mother-in-law visited me for the first time from india and she loved it. Thanks!
